Document Description
The project consists of replacing substation capacitor power breakers (see attached illustration) that have exceeded their life expectancy or are currently unreliable for service. The work includes the engineering design, procurement and replacement of capacitor power circuit breakers at the Terminal and Jefferson Substations. The capacitor power circuit breakers are devices used to energized and de-energize the capacitor banks in the substations; they are also used to isolate the capacitor banks during emergency conditions
