Document Description
Community Services is proposing minor improvements to Ross Park, a City owned parcel, in order to restore an existing playground to improve safety. Improvements include: removal of the existing rubber playground surfacing and replacing it with new rubber tile surfacing over the existing concrete; repairing damaged playground platforms; removal of 2 playground poles; and, replacement of an interactive panel on a playground platform. All work will be completed with hand tools and a mini excavator and no ground disturbance is anticipated because all of the work will be performed on top of the existing concrete pavement. The proposed project is estimated to take approximately 2 weeks. The project should be completed by December 2021.
