Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-TEH-22263-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Kevin Johnson. The proposed Project is limited to the relocation of the low-flow channel of Red Bank Creek to the center of the streambed in order to mitigate ongoing erosion occurring on the south bank. The newly excavated channel will maintain the grade and elevation of existing and will be graded to 5:1 slope. The southern bank will be built up, graded, and sloped to 6:1 using up to 500 cubic yards (cy) of excavated bed material. Whenever possible, woody debris excavated during channel relocation will be incorporated into the fill placed on the south bank.
