Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is the LeadAgency for the Project. The State Water Board’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program is financing the Project. The Project includes the replacement of existing water mains for Hardwick Water Company and installation of new water mains, services, meters, and fire hydrants within the Project area, including on private property. This will include abandoning the old water mains in place and installing approximately 2,900 linear feet (lf) of new 6-inch water main. The new infrastructure will allow the currently connected 21 properties to connect or remain connected to the 6-inch main (existing or proposed) and water well, and allow up to 19 more properties currently on private domestic wells to connect to the community water system; private wells in Hardwick are known to exceed arsenic and uranium MCLs.
