Document Description
This project will turn off the line at the valve near the Parry Grove trail head and depressurize it to eliminate ongoing leakage. The line will be left in place for occasional use during maintenance and resource projects. A new drinking fountain, bottle filler, and wharf hydrant will be installed at the Guy Fleming Trailhead to meet the needs for visitor comfort and fire suppression. There is a polyvinyl chloride pipe (pvc) waterline installed in the late 1990’s that passes the location and will be “T’d” into. The existing 1250’ of galvanized pipe will be replaced with approx. 25’ of polyvinyl chloride pipe (pvc). Measures to be implemented to avoid impact may be obtained by submitting a request to the project Environmental Coordinator listed below.
