Document Description
The Project a discretionary review of an existing 33,465 square feet warehouse facility located in the M-2 (Heavy Manufacturing) Zone, in the unincorporated community of Rancho Dominguez. The Project proposes an interior tenant improvement to build a high hazard storage room, install high pile storage racking, upgrade the fire suppression system, and install a new outdoor prefabricated four-hour rated flammable storage container. The proposed storage of hazardous materials would occur inside the renovated H occupancy rated warehouse, or inside of a non-accessible four-hour rated flammable storage container. The outdoor storage container consists of four hour rated wall construction, self-contained sump explosion proof mechanical vent, and a dry-chem suppression unit. The Project site is approximately 3.43 acres and is currently used for company office, warehouse, and vehicle storage.
