The project is within Coyote Valley which is a roughly 2-mile-wide and 7-milelong portion of the Santa Clara Valley in the southernmost part of San Jose, California. The Santa Cruz Mountains lie to the west and connects to the Diablo Range to the east through the Valley. Coyote Valley’s largely undeveloped open space lands fall between densely urbanized areas of San Jose to the north and Morgan Hill to the south, in Santa Clara County.
