Document Description
This project converts approximately 8.3 miles of SR 99, 41, and 180 freeway landscaping from potable water to the City of Fresno’s recycled water. This project will include the installation of a recycled water mainline which will supply the existing irrigation systems within the project limits. The purpose of this project is to reduce the usage of potable water for irrigation, and to improve the existing irrigation system. These improvements are needed to meet Caltrans' February 6, 2014 goal of reducing potable water use by 50% in response to drought conditions.
