Document Description
The project is located on SR-73 near Cabot Road (PM 11.0/11.3) in the City of Laguna Niguel in Orange County. The project proposed to install geomembrane, claymax layer and gravel in median area within the project limits. The damaged plastic sheeting will be replaced with channel lining in the median to improve safety of the maintenance crew and public. The project includes to excavate 12’ existing slope and compact to smooth grade to median V-dtich. And 1 ½ ft wide x 1 ½ ft deep tranches along the V-ditch on both sides and place 30-mil thick, double layer HDPE geo-membrane anchor at both ends. In addition, claymax liner will be overlayed on top of geomembrane, except trenches and a 6” dia. PVC perforate PVC drain with 6” burrito wrap in trench will be placed. And a 12” thick gravel layer or excavated soils over the claymax liner and compact will be placed to obtains sloping grades to drain to V-ditch This project is funded by 2022 SHOPP and it’s a minor B project.
