Document Description
The proposed project is a request for a Zoning Permit for a cottage sized indoor cannabis cultivation, approx. 500 sq.-ft. of canopy within Suite A (4,980 sq.-ft.) of an existing 14,742 sq.-ft. building. This cottage sized cultivation operation will include genetic testing on cannabis cultivars which will be processed and distributed next door in Suite B, which is currently operating as a cannabis manufacturing, processing, and distributing facility (approved under UPC19-0008) on a 1.73 acre parcel.

The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the CEQA Guidelines pursuant to the Provisions of Title 14 of the California Administrative Code, Section 15301(a) (Existing Facilities) as an existing facility converting one use to another but involving negligible expansion of use and only minor construction, including interior tenant improvements.
