The purpose of the proposed project is to bank water that is periodically available above current needs from the Tule River Intertie or Tipton Ditch and deliver that recovered water to lawful recipients within the allowed Places of Use. The project would involve the operation of a groundwater banking facility consisting of approximately 64 acres of existing recharge basin, one existing well, and one existing turnout structure from Tipton Ditch.
