Document Description
The project would amend Titles 8 and 22 of the County Code and the County General Plan to include a new ordinance to regulate planting of production agriculture irrigated from groundwater wells within the PLUMBA. The ordinance would require a planting permit or exemption verification for new or expanded planting of crops irrigated from groundwater wells within the PBLUMA. Issuance of planting permits would be ministerial. The ordinance would be in effect from March 1, 2023 to January 31, 2045.
