Document Description
The proposed project will construct new sidewalks around the Olive View E.S. campus, install accessible pedestrian ramps at crossings and reconfigure crosswalk striping. This project will assist in completing previous SR2S funded safety enhancement work adjacent to the school. The project purpose is to enhance student and community safety. Project beneficiaries are students, city residents, school staff and school site users.

Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project is exempt as it wilL entail the installation of new sidewalk in areas not having sidewalk, installation of accessible ramping and reconfigurations of striping of school safety crossings. All work will occur within the existing street right-of-way, adjacent to the existing school site, on existing streets used for school access and located within the developed area of the City.
