Document Description
The project is limited to the annual installation and removal of a temporary crossing over Light’s Creek. No in-stream work will be required for the installation and removal of the temporary crossing. Two sections of 4-feet by 15-feet of riparian vegetation will be trimmed to place the crossing. Both areas have sparse coverage of willows that will likely need to be trimmed each year. The bridge will be placed and removed from the shore using an excavator. The bridge will be installed each year after the water levels subside and removed each season prior to rising water levels. No vehicles or machinery will be used in or driven through active wetted portions of the channel
The staging area is a previously disturbed parking turnout south-east of the project location. The bridge structure will be stored in the staging area during high water seasons. The project will be completed using an excavator, truck, trailer, and hand tools.
