Document Description
This project consists of the installation of twenty-four (24) steel pre-fabricated ADA compliant fire rings at the Blair Valley Primitive Campground and one (1) at Quartz Vein Wash in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. The fire rings will be placed in various locations in the campground to eliminate the increasing illegal ground fire problem. A 3x3 hole for each fire at approximately 12 inches deep will be dug for each fire ring. The installation work for the fire rings will be completed by California State Park employees and will benefit Anza-Borrego Desert State Park by eliminating the illegal ground fires in the Blair Valley Primitive Campground and possibly preventing a wildland fire.
