Reasons for Exemption
The proposed work within State right-of-way is maintenance to an existing facility of an electric utility infrastructure. The work in the ROW is not an expansion of use and will not have a significant impact on the environment. The activities are the outcome of Pacific Power's continued fire mitigation program of system hardening in California and is being conducted in accordance with California Senate Bill 901 and the new provisions of California Public Utilities Code Section 8363.
