Document Description
Due to prolonged drought conditions and low allocation of SWP "Table A Amount" for 2021, CCWA currently needs additional water supplies to supplement its 2021 supplies. GHMWC will make available for transfer to CCWA a proportionate share of transfer water-1.4016 percent of a maximum transfer amount of 5,497 acre-feet (AF) of water available for transfer (77.05 AF)-by pumping groundwater from transfer wells for irrigation in lieu of diverting surface water under its water right License 2033 pursuant to SWRCB Order Dated May 28, 2021 and its 1971 Agreement on Diversion of Water from the Feather River with DWR. GHMWC's point of transfer will be the Feather River at River Mile 13.1 R. Delivery to CCWA's shall occur on or before November 30, 2021 at the delivery structures along the Coastal Branch Repayment Reach Nos. 35 and 38. All water delivered to CCWA shall be used entirely within CCWA's service area. DWR has agreed to convey the transfer water through existing facilities from the point of transfer to the point of delivery pursuant to an agreement among GHMWC, DWR, SBCFCWCD and others providing for the conveyance and storage of the transfer water (DWR SWPAO Agreement# 21-702)
