Document Description
The purpose of this project is to improve summer habitat for salmonids by increasing summer streamflow conditions in the Mill Creek Watershed. This will be done by installing water storage tanks that will be filled during the we season (winter) and used in the dry season (summer-fall) to offset the amount of water normally extracted from the existing water source when water is most scarce and critical for juvenile salmonid survival. Stored water also serves as a resource for fire fighting efforts within the community.
