The West Valley Water District is proposing to expand the Oliver P. Roemer Water Filtration Facility (RWFF) from the current 14.4 mgd to 21.6 mgd to treat additional State Water Project water, and includes the following Project elements: install three new Trident filtration units; replace the existing UV reactors, adjust the Granular Activated Carbon system form series to parallel mode; enhance the Backwash Settling Ponds, install water booster pumps; construct a new influent pump station, install a 30-inch treated water conveyance pipeline from the RWFF to the reservoirs; and repair, rehabilitate, and improve other existing infrastructure.
