Reasons for Exemption
Class 6 exempts actions for data collection and resource evaluation which do not result in significant impacts to an environmental resource. The purpose is to collect data to implement the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act. The permanently impacted area will be approx. 4'x4'. DWR has evaluated cultural and biological resources and has determined the project will not result in significant impacts.
