Document Description
The Project consists of the construction of a new pier within Donner Lake using sixteen (16) round steel columns that will be 12.75 inches in diameter, pile driven to a minimum depth of ten (10) feet into the lakebed. Steel I-beams will be attached to the steel columns and will support 4’x6’ Alaskan Yellow Cedar joists. Redwood will be used as the decking surface. There will be an impact to approximately 8.4 cubic yards of lake bottom to account for new steel columns. Each steel columns will displace an estimate 0.6 cubic yards of lakebed. Total project size is 424 square feet.
