Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS- RIV-30612-R6, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Project Applicant, Rancho Pacific Global Partners, Inc. The Project is limited to the construction of a gas station on 1.5 acres of a 2.84-acre parcel which includes a convenience store (3,800 square foot), fueling station, carwash, 29 parking spaces, and driveway. Additional offsite impacts include work to connect the on-site water from the bio-retention basin to the existing storm drains and connect proposed development to existing utility structures along Iris Avenue. The Streambed Alteration Agreement is being issued regarding the Project’s impacts to fish and wildlife resources subject to Fish and Game Code section 1600 et seq. and associated compensatory mitigation requirements. The Project will permanently impact a total of 0.14 acres of fish and wildlife resources pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1600 et seq. To compensate for permanent impacts to 0.14 acres of fish and wildlife resources subject to Fish and Game Code section 1600 et seq., the Project Applicant shall purchase no less than 0.5 acres of streambed habitat re-establishment and/or rehabilitation credits through a CDFW-approved mitigation bank within the Santa Ana River or adjacent watershed with the approval of CDFW.
