Document Description
Caltrans is proposing the Traffic Management System (TMS) Project on State Route (SR)-23 between Postmile (PM) R3.6 and PM R11.45 and on SR-101 between PM 0.0 and PM 3.2 in Thousand Oaks and Moorpark, Ventura County. The project would upgrade the existing Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras, Changeable Message Signs (CMS), Vehicle Detection Stations (VDS), and Ramp Metering Systems (RMS). Additionally, the project will install seven CCTV cameras, one new CMS, three new Census stations, one new Communications Hub, Midwest Guardrail System (MGS), three new census stations, and Maintenance Vehicle Pullouts (MVPs) at selected locations. There will also be communication system installation and upgrades at the Los Angeles Regional Transportation Management Center (LARTMC) on SR-2, at PM R18.7, and the Communication Hub on SR-101, at PM 7.8, Los Angeles County.
