Document Description
Routine maintenance activities to clear stream channels, culverts, and the City's storm drain conveyance system of weeds, brush, trash and debris which would otherwise constrict the floodway channel in stormflow events. Routine maintenance at Greenhorn Dam includes removing emergent vegetation growing on the dam. Routine maintenance includes replacement or repair of infrastructure, such as leaking water lines. Proposed activities include brush and weed removal using mowers and weedeaters, hand removal of noxious weeds, removal end/or trimming of invasive blackberry, tree limbing, and occasional removal of dangerous trees (estimated 2-3 year) that threaten to fall and/or block storm drains/culverts. City will comply with Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement with Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Routine maintenance of existing landscaping, including native plant growth, and existing public structures and facilities involving no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of this determination. The purpose is to maintain (or keep clear) stream channels, culverts, and the storm drain conveyance system. There will be no removal of healthy, mature scenic trees as a result of this project. The project will have no significant effect on the environment
