Document Description
Project includes minor selective demolition to walls, removal of loose or inaccurate materials, patching of adobe walls at existing cracks and damage, general wall prep to receive new whitewash and application of whitewash/lime wash on all wall surfaces of eight rooms in the Casa de Estudillo. Project protects structure and will improve the appearance of the property. Measures to be implemented to avoid impact may be obtained by submitting a request to the project Environmental Coordinator listed below.

If the project is implemented as indicated within the project description including conditions provided by CDPR specialists, then it is exempt under CEQA §15304 - Minor Alterations to Land and §15331 - Historical Resource Restoration/Rehabilitation. The action falls under the Departmental List of Exempt activities according to CEQA § 15300.4 as: • "Minor trenching and backfilling where the surface is restored" (Class 4, Section 15304). • "Activities affecting historic resources consistent with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties" (Class 31, Section 15331).
