Document Description
City of Lafayette Revised 6th Cycle Housing Element - The City has prepared an Addendum to its 6th Cycle Housing Element Update (HEU) Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) covering Revisions to the Adopted HEU necessary to meet State law, including amending the General Plan Land Use Element and Zoning text and maps to increase densities is certain areas. No additional or more severe impacts were identified. The HEU addresses the City's Regional Housing Needs Allocation of 2,114 housing units, Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing, and other housing policy matters. The FEIR evaluated the potential environmental impacts of implementing the HEU and includes mitigation measures for potentially significant impacts. The FEIR was certified on January 23, 2023 and the Addendum was adopted on Decembers 16, 2024.
