Document Description
The project consists of installation of 117,270± square yards of rubberized cape seal in various local streets in the City of Coalinga. The rubberized cape seal involves an application of rubberized asphalt chip seal and an application of Type II slurry seal at each location. The project also includes restriping and reinstallation of pavement markings for those streets receiving treatment. Rubberized cape seal restores the pavement's ability to prevent water intrusion, corrects cracking and improves skid resistance. Priorities are established by the Pavement Management System.
