Document Description
Notice of Exemption pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301, Class 1 (Existing Facilities); Section 15302, Class 2 (Replacement or Reconstruction); and Statutory Exemption Section 15282(k). The scope of this project consists of various pipe work in the vicinity of the Sunset Blvd & Stone Canyon Rd intersection. Pipe work includes 1) Remove and Replace: 1,430 linear feet along the same alignment with same size and/or upsize, 2) New Pipe Installation: 300 linear feet along a new alignment, 3) Abandon: 930 linear feet, 4) Remove Only: 350 linear feet. In addition, 6 isolation valves and a regulator valve will be installed. The regulator valve will be installed in an existing vault for Sunset & Stone Canyon RS to replace an existing cone valve.
