Document Description
The proposed flow equalization modifications would support water process reliability and resilience enabling the Regional WWTF to accommodate variability of inflows associated with extreme storm events generated by climate change. Aeration system upgrades would improve wastewater system function and longevity, and increase energy efficiency, while decreasing operational costs and greenhouse gas emissions. Polymer injection system upgrades would improve solid waste handling and disposal.
