15-gallon street trees will be planted with new, expanded, or existing tree wells and open parkways. The purpose of this project is to promote public health, reduce the heat island effect, and conserve water. Los Angeles residents will benefit from the cleaner air, capture CO2, cleaner water, and additional shade.
