Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project involves the monitoring of and minimal maintenance to a small section of streambank (including seeding with native vegetation) to prevent erosion associated with unpermitted earthwork activities conducted to remove an on-channel impoundment structure. The project activities will only occur within the pre-disturbed area and will be solely focused on prevention of erosion and sediment discharge into an unnamed stream, tributary to Dickerson Creek. This project, as carried out in accordance with the Agreement, poses no significant adverse impacts to endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat.
