Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to install flashing beacons on State Route 269 at Avenal Cutoff Road. This work includes removing existing wood post, salvaging the existing signs, pouring new foundations for the light and flashing beacons. The proposed project will also be trenching along State Route 269 and boring from Route 269 and Avenal Cutoff road to supply power to the flashing beacons and lighting as well as boring crossing the Intestate 5 off ramp towards on the west side for conduit. All work is to occur within the existing Caltrans ROW. No additional right of way is required.
