Document Description
Rancho Jurupa Regional Park features a three (3) acre fishing lake which is currently stocked with Channel Catfish and Rainbow Trout. The current existing lakefill and pump system for the fishing lake has broken beyond repair and needs to be repaired and reconstructed to maintain the health of the fishing lake. This project would repair and reconstruct the lakefill pump station which feeds the lake directly.

This project does not expand the footprint or capacity of the lake in any way, repairing and reconstructing the pump that fills the lake only. Existing Facilities (CEQA Guidelines, Section 15301) allows for the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination.
