The project is located on Clover Creek, and an unnamed tributary to Clover Creek in the Buckhorn (5507.320202) and Fern (5507.320201) Planning Watersheds, in the County of Shasta, State of California; Township 33N, Range 01W, Sections 13, 22, 23, and 26; Mount Diablo Base and Meridian; USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle “Whitmore, CA”.
Other Information
The project is limited to (2) encroachment(s). MRP A includes the installation of a temporary crossing on a Class I watercourse (Clover Creek) during hauling operations. MRP B is a temporary culvert that will be installed of sufficient size to pass all water flows unobstructed. The cut bank on the west side of the class II ford crossing contains a series of springs that drain westward towards an existing dip where the water crosses the road running surface. An inside ditch will be installed to contain the flow of the springs and keep it off of the road running surface. The existing rolling deep will be converted to a permanent 12 inch CMP crossing.
