Document Description
The purpose of this project is to restore both the ecological health and safe access to the Tangle Blue Lake-Tangle Blue Creek area in the Trinity Alps Wilderness of the Shasta-Trinity National forest. These areas have been negatively impacted by a combination of poorly designed original trail construction and old logging and mining roads that are no longer used/maintained. Project will decommission sections of trail, construct new trail, rehabilitate existing trail and meadows, planting and transplanting of native plants, install erosion control methods to minimize erosion and sedimentation that enter the watershed, and eliminate hazardous trail conditions.
