Reasons for Exemption
PG&E’s proposed project will ensure existing pipeline reliability and safety on Sherman Island in an unincorporated area of Sacramento County. The replacement of these old tie lines with a new pipe will strengthen the integrity of the SP4Y and SP4Z gas pipelines. Class 1 allows for maintenance of existing investor or publicly-owned utilities used to provide natural gas delivery involving negligible or no expansion of use.
