Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project is Categorically Exempt from environmental proceedings pursuant to Section 15301, Class 1, of the California Environment Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, which exempts permitting and licensing of existing private structures, such as the banquet facility, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination. Furthermore, the project is exempt from CEQA because there will be no expansion to the existing banquet facility.
