Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-KER-13744-R4, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the applicant, Kern and Tule Hydro, LLC.
The Project includes activities related to construction of a rockfall fence, debris removal from the stream bed, and refurbishment of the currently inoperable diversion dam, to return function to the hydroelectric facility at the Kern Canyon Project (FERC No. 178). Prior to construction activities the site will be dewatered and a temporary river crossing will be constructed. Project activities will be conducted in work seasons over two years.
