Document Description
Caltrans proposes to repair a washout at the embankment slope along the Southbound I-505 off-ramp to Allendale Road at PM 5.7 in the City of Vacaville, in Solano County. Caltrans plans to remove loose debris from the damaged area and excavate an additional 2 to 3 feet of soil below the surface of the failure before placing rock slope protection (RSP) fabric. The purpose of this project is to install RSP and use an erosion control measure to repair a slope washout along the southbound off-ramp to Allendale Road, which was brought about by storm events in February of 2017.
