Document Description
The project is limited to replacing an approximately 58-foot long, 20-foot-wide railroad flatcar bridge with an approximately 68-foot long, 19.5-foot-wide railroad flatcar bridge across an unnamed tributary to Rector Creek. Existing abutments and footings will be abandoned in place to minimize impacts to the bed, bank, and channel. New bridge abutments will be installed behind the existing abutments and outside top-of-bank. The bottom of the new bridge deck will be approximately 2 feet above the estimated 100-year flood water surface elevation.
