Document Description
The San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board issued a Clean Water Act section 401 water quality certification (Certification No. R9-2021-0212) to the Project Applicant to upsize, rehabilitate, and replace most of the sewer line along 4.7 miles of Tecolote Canyon. These repairs and upgrades will prevent sewer line ruptures like the one in 2016 that caused a spill into Tecolote Creek. Project activities include sewer line maintenance, installation and replacement of manholes, and access path improvements to facilitate future maintenance.
