Document Description
State Route 41 is a heavily used roadway that has experienced pavement deterioration within the project limits. The project is needed to improve aesthetics and reduce the cost of long-term maintenance. The project proposes to pave areas beyond the gore and narrow areas at the top of the slope as well as areas extending beyond the gore with rock blanket and concrete in an architectural color and pattern to match current aesthetics. Existing curb or dike will be replaced to bring them up to standard in gore areas while addressing drainage issues where required. Metal Beam Guard Rail will be replaced with Concrete Barriers where needed. Irrigation components will be redesigned and relocated a minimum of 25 feet from the edge of the pavement.
