The San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA), in cooperation with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and the City of Colton, proposes to construct improvements to Mount (Mt.) Vernon Avenue to accommodate four continuous through lanes through the interchange, two additional left turn lanes in the northbound direction, and bike lanes in both directions at Interstate 10 (I-10), from Post Mile (PM) R22.7 to PM R24.3 between 9th Street and the Interstate 215 (I-215) interchange in the City of Colton, San Bernardino County. Mt Vernon Avenue, south of the eastbound I-10 ramps, will also be widened to accommodate a left turn lane in the northbound direction.
