Document Description
Caltrans proposes to make culvert repairs in El Dorado County, near Coloma, on State Route 49. The work will be performed from post mile (PM) 19.9 to PM 21.3, at various locations from 0.3 miles north of Woodridge Road to 0.2 miles south of Highway 153. The purpose of the project is to restore this stretch of roadway to safe and useable condition by rehabilitating or replacing these culverts. The project is needed as existing culverts have failed. As these culverts were identified by the Caltrans Culvert Inspection Program to have been in either poor or fair condition, the project is needed to preserve and prolong the service life of each.
