Document Description
Install a total of two (2) new self-contained, accessible automated pay machines (APM) and appropriate regulatory signage, at Tahoe State Recreation-Gatekeepers Unit (TSRA) and Donner Memorial State Park, to allow visitors to pay day use fees and support administrative services.
TSRA: Install one (1) new ADA compliant APM with cellular connectivity on new pad, adjacent to established ADA parking and route of travel;
• Trench 8’ long x 6” wide x 24” deep from existing splice location to new APM pad location;
• Excavate 3’ long x 3’ wide x 3’ deep of native material and pour new concrete APM pad;
• Backfill excavated trench, compact, and cap with appropriate material (i.e., concrete, asphalt, pavers dirt) and blend to existing features in likeness and elevation;
• Drill and set anchor bolts into the existing cement pad and attach new APM; and
• Install APM regulatory signage on the existing adjacent lamp post.
Donner MSP: Install one (1) new ADA compliant APM with both solar and cellular capabilities on existing cement pad, adjacent to established ADA parking and route of travel:
• Drill and set anchor bolts into the existing cement pad and attach new APM; and
• Install APM regulatory signage adjacent to the new APM on either the existing No Parking signpost or bolt a new signpost onto the existing cement pad next to the APM.
