Project is to restore and enhance wildlife habitat on the China Island Unit of the North Grasslands Wildlife Area on Newman Land Company property by reestablishing Mud Slough flows to Newman Lake combined with Los Banos Creek Flows (up to 1,663 AF) during the September 5 to January 10 period. Hydraulic modifications and wetland restoration activities are proposed. Mitigation measures are primarily for biological impacts associated with Project construction.
