The proposed project would remove the existing culvert and replace it with a natural stream channel to provide flood protection and enhance aquatic habitat. The proposed project would also include associated improvements to the existing Pavilion, access pathways/trails, and other landscaping treatments to enhance existing park facilities and complement the restored channel. The Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration evaluates the impacts of construction and restoration of the stream channel.
