Document Description
The 60-acre Project will include rail bridge replacement and improvements at the Port of Stockton. Currently, a single-track rail swing bridge over the San Joaquin River connects the East and West Complexes of the Port of Stockton. The existing bridge and all associated piles would be removed. The outdated bridge will be replaced with two single-track rail bridges or a double-track rail, removable span bridge in the same location. The Project will also add 4,000 linear feet of long lead double track to the existing Port rail infrastructure.
