Document Description
The Auburn Municipal Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan (ALUCP) is intended to promote compatibility between Auburn Municipal Airport operations and new surrounding land uses considering noise, safety, airspace protection and overflight effects. Preparation is required by the State Aeronautics Act. Neither the ALUC nor the ALUCP have authority over existing land uses or operation of Auburn Municipal Airport; nor does the plan propose any airport or land use development, or other physical changes to the environment. An Initial Study/Negative Declaration was prepared; a Notice of Public Workshop/Notice of Intent to adopt a Negative Declaration was released on 6.23.21 for 30-day public review; an Addendum was subsequently prepared addressing minor technical revisions; the California Department of Fish and Wildlife issued a “No Effect Determination” on 8.25.21; and a Negative Declaration was approved by the Placer County ALUC on 9.22.21.
