Document Description
The project is located at the CAL FIRE Blasingame Fire Station located at 23087 Tollhouse Rd, Clovis, CA 93619. Although much of the property could be characterized as previously-disturbed habitat, the lesser-disturbed portions of the project area consist of oak woodland and native/non-native grasses in a rural residential area. The project proposes to remove approximately 12,000 ????2of failing asphalt concrete and replace it in kind, and to allow for maintenance in perpetuity. The project does not include any additional ground disturbance. Equipment to be used for the demolition of the existing concrete includes but is not limited to; jack hammer, forklift, mini excavator, and a skid steer. Equipment to be utilized for the installation of new concrete will be a cement truck and non-powered hand tools. Construction equipment will remain on site until the job is completed except for the cement truck which will make trips to and from the project location. Off-site project improvements will not be required for this project. The project is anticipated to take approximately 1-2 weeks to complete.
